Dear Friends and Family,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I pray this letter finds you all doing well. Thank you so much for your continued prayers, encouragement, and financial support. It is such a privilege to serve the Lord here in Eldoret, Kenya, and I wanted to share some of what He has been doing over the past few months.
One of the biggest changes recently is that Pastor Josh has now left Kenya. With his departure, the Lord has opened up more opportunities for me to teach God’s Word, and I am incredibly thankful for the responsibility. Last Thursday I had the opportunity to teach through Psalm 1, and it was a tremendous blessing to spend time studying and sharing God’s Word. My prayer is that we would all desire to be like “a tree planted by the rivers of water” (Psalm 1:3)—deeply rooted in God’s Word, continually nourished by Him, and bearing fruit that brings Him glory. If you’d like to watch the teaching, I’ve included a link to the video with this newsletter. I pray it encourages you in your walk with the Lord.
Pastor Josh also entrusted me with overseeing the current building project. While I have read construction plans before, these plans are on a much larger scale than what I’m accustomed to. It has been both exciting and humbling. More than anything, I find myself continually asking the Lord for wisdom and guidance as I seek to make good decisions and faithfully steward the responsibility He has placed before me. Please keep this project in your prayers as we continue building a place where people can gather to worship Christ, hear His Word, and grow in their faith.
On a personal note, Caren and I continue to enjoy married life and are so thankful for the Lord’s faithfulness. We are learning together, growing together, and seeking to honor Christ in our marriage as we serve Him here in Kenya.
As I sit at my desk writing this update, I can’t help but reflect on how amazing it is that God allows me to be part of His kingdom work. A few years ago, I never would have imagined this would be where He would lead me. By His grace alone, Jesus Christ transformed my life, and now I have the incredible privilege of serving Him in Kenya. Whether it’s teaching His Word, helping oversee construction, or simply serving wherever there is a need, I am continually reminded that this is all because of His grace. Thank you for being part of what the Lord is doing here through your faithful prayers and support.

Prayer Requests

• Please pray for wisdom and guidance as I oversee the building project and for continued faithfulness as I teach God’s Word.
• Please pray for Caren and me as we continue to grow together in our marriage and seek to glorify Christ in every area of our lives.
• Please pray for my father. Doctors have recently found a fourth cancerous tumor in his groin. While I certainly pray for the Lord’s healing, my greatest prayer is for his salvation. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him to Jesus, that he would place his faith in Christ, and that he would find true rest and peace in the Lord.
